Two volunteer classes in 2009 yielded twenty five new volunteers who took the oath to serve abused and neglected children in Richmond when appointed to do so by the judges in the Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court. The Spring 2009 class was one of the largest in history and produced a very spirited, engaged and dedicated group of volunteers, eager to begin their work for the children of Richmond. The Fall 2009 class was smaller but every bit as committed to work for Richmond's most vulnerable children. The new volunteers were called into action almost as soon as they were sworn-in.
